How to Change the Default QuickBooks Account Mapping in QuickBooks POS
I am inquiring about scheduling an appt. with one of your specialists for help in properly setting up our Foundation for the financial exchange between our QuickBooks Premier Non Profit 2012 and our QuickBooks Point of Sale 10.0. The mapping of the accounts will need to be set up differently than the default accounts automatically set up. I also have some questions regarding how we have set up our POS in a few areas.
We’re happy to make an appointment with you, but you can change your account defaults yourself in File > Preferences > Company > Accounts. Make sure to change the accounts on the Advanced tab as well (see below).
